A few days ago I tried to make a decent video of my BOE-Bot driving a square round, unfortunately I didn’t get my camera working with USB. My laptop has no firewire (IEEE1394) and my desktop computer is unplugged, due the lack of space.
A few days ago I finally received my BOE-Bot. This toy robot is created for learning purposes. That’s what the name BOE stands for, Board Of Education. And I have to say it is true, the manual is about 350pages thick and very easy to read and understand even for a non English speaking guy :-).
I’m busy to create a nice reverse proxying environment, for this we choose the ISA 2006 server. Mainly because we have some experience with this and it should be really easy to create a High Availabilty solution.
Just posting this, because it took me a while to figure it out and I think it can be helpfull for others. Last week I was building a test environment for our new secured webapplication.
I would not call myself a gamer, cause I’ven’t played any game lately, but a few years ago, eight or maybe more. I had plenty of time, so besides programming and other things on a pc, I also played games.
Always wanted to create an 3D engine or 3D game? A few weeks ago I got an assignment of school to create a 3D game. I had about 8 weeks to accomplish this, without any knowledge about 3D or OpenGL.
Long time, since I blogged, but today I got a very strange error with Windows 7 and maybe it can occur in previous versions too. I was trying to install an older version of VMWare workstation and the installer keeps coming with the error invalid drive h:.
Today I was in the mood for trying another distribution. So Linux Mint gets a chance of proving itself. The installation went fine, but after the installation there was no sound.
It is been a while, since I my last post, but I definitely been very busy with some great tools and techniques. One of these tools or maybe I have to say one set of tools have surprised me.
