Invalid Drive Error 1327

Long time, since I blogged, but today I got a very strange error with Windows 7 and maybe it can occur in previous versions too. I was trying to install an older version of VMWare workstation and the installer keeps  coming with the error invalid drive h:. This drive is connected to our homeshare on a specific server. To solve this problem, you need to edit the registry. Go to “hkey_curren_usersoftwaremicrosoftwindowscurrentversionexploreruser shell folders” en change the folders directing directly to the driveletter to an UNC path. So H: would become \server%username%$ In this folder I edited “Personal” but this wasn’t enough I also needed to change My Pictures??? What the heck is vmware doing with my pictures, while installing? It is working now, but if enyone can explain this strange behavoir I’m glad to hear from you
