Free Navigation Start Wazing

A few days ago I received my iPhone 3GS, it is my first smartphone and since this is new for me, I started looking for interesting apps. One of these apps I really like is Waze.

Hurray for Testdisk

Last weekend I (re)installed my hobby server with Ubuntu server 9.10. I placed an old Highpoint RocketRaid 1740 Raid controller with 3 500GB disks in it. Since the RocketRaid had no configuration I build up a RAID5 configuration.

Ldap Authentication for Ipplan Apache Linux

As you may have read, I’m testing with an IP management tool, called IPPlan. Since I’m not the only one at our company, that need access to IPPlan and I wasn’t planning in doing a lot of user management, I did a try to connect IPPlan to our Active Directory (LDAP) environment.

Ipplan Export to Import for Poller

Like many others, I also hate administrative tasks. One of these tasks that comes back again and again is IP documentation. To make my life easier and probably that of others :-), I decided to go testing with IP management software.

Windows 7 Media Center Suprisingly Good

My parents have a mediacenter which I build for them a few years ago. My parents don’t need a lots of functions and watching TV, having an EPG, and be able to watch a dvd so now and then would satisfied them.

Hello World 3

Maybe some of you might have noticed, my blog has moved to a new host. At the moment of writing I’m still busy with moving the domainname. Within a few days from now, I hope to have everything up and running like it was.

16x16 Sprite Creater With 8bit Colormap

A few posts below, I created a 8bits RGB colormap. This map came in handy when I had to change some sprite colors in my FPGA Framebuffer. Unfortunately this colormap won’t help me much with creating new sprites.

Connection Pool vs Firewall

As some of you might have noticed, I’m busy at work to create a new reverse proxy environment to publish our websites. The whole set-up is very simple and commonly used in the world, so I wasn’t expecting a lot of problems.

Real 8bit Color Map Like the Msx2

For a few weeks now we’re busy at school with VHDL and FPGA’s. This is some really awesome stuff and we just build our own VGA signal with an framebuffer. The only downside of this is, that wat we had coded from the examples was only 3bit RGB, so one bit for Red, one bit for Green and one bit for Blue.

Citrix Web Interface 5 X 5 1 2 Client Deployment

A few days ago I updated our Citrix Web Interface to version 5.1.2. After this update it seems that the Client Deployment process was broken. Users still got the download button, but after pressing this button it opens the Citrix website.
